Who am i?
Hello! My name is Mo and I am the guy that is Creature Boy. I am a 26 year old transman who spends a lot of his time painting queer erotic art.
I was born in Manchester where I was basically one of the only trans people I knew about. I had to navigate much of my queer identity by myself until I went to college where I finally got to meet other queer people. I’ve also been drawing and making art my entire life. Ever since I saw my dad doodle an impressively realistic face on the corner of some paper I have had a huge passion for art. I went on to study 3D Design and Graphic Design at A level, mostly working on cartoons and comic art.
It wasn’t until I moved to Bristol and went to university that I finally truly got to meet other trans people like myself. I started my Illustration degree at UWE and fully immersed myself in the queer community for the first time. It was here that I started to explore the intricacies of my gender identity, queerness and took my first steps into the kink and fetish community. During my time at university, I started to experiment in secret with watercolors and erotic art as a way to explore my own sexuality, desires relationship with my body. It was only when I started introducing this work into my main coursework that I realized the joy it brought me. I went on to work on projects about gender euphoria, body image, gender identity, kink and fetish.
I graduated university with a solid 2.1 and an unbelievable amount of burnout. And with the pandemic at its worst, I was simply too preoccupied with life to really focus on my art career. But the burning need to make art will never cease and here I am today. Goals for the future include doing more art stalls, curating my first ever exhibition and working on reportage projects.
When not making art or suffering through a day job, you can usually find me playing bad video games, listening to music, watching crap horror films and staring at my pet tarantula.
